Broadbeach is situated just south of Surfers Paradise and is well known for its adjoining green parkland, restaurants and shopping. There is ample car-parking, picnic areas, barbecue facilities and the Kurrawa Surf Lifesaving Club (host of the annual Australian Surf Lifesaving Titles) is nearby.

With such a beautiful beach as your backdrop, shopping in the mall and dining in one of the many streetside cafes and restaurants are pleasant experiences. The nearby Pacific Fair shopping complex houses a cinema as well as over 250 specialty shops and the Oasis Centre houses a range of boutique stores as well as fabulous food. There's also a beachfront craft market held in Kurrawa Park on the first and third Sunday of every month and the Broadbeach Lantern Market is held each Friday night during the warmer months (September to May).

Nearby Jupiter's Casino provides free entertainment in the Atrium Bar and you can take the monorail from the Oasis Shopping Centre right to the door.
